Stuart Penninger

Stuart Penninger is currently serving as a GIS Advisory Board Committee Member at Northern Virginia Community College since September 2023. With a robust background at Esri since November 2019, Stuart has progressed through roles from Solution Engineer to Team Lead. Previous experience includes managing green roof and wall construction as a Maintenance Specialist at Moerings Green Roof Maintenance and supporting both commercial and defense sectors at Alqimi Corporation as a Business Associate. Stuart also worked as a Geospatial Analyst at IST Research Corp and as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Richard H. Stuart. Early roles include serving as a Research Assistant at Venable LLP and a Federal Advocacy Intern at Autism Speaks. Stuart's foundational experience includes handling the operations of funerals as a Funeral Assistant and officiating games as a Certified Umpire in the Stafford Baseball League. Educationally, Stuart holds a Master's degree in Geospatial Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, both from the University of Mary Washington.
