Laquena Lyons-Smith

LaQuena Lyons-Smith is an experienced educator and manager with a diverse background in teaching and foodservice. Currently serving as a Teacher Assistant at ESS since August 2023, LaQuena previously held the role of Team Lead Manager at Terrell Independent School District for one year. Prior experience includes a seven-year tenure as a Foodservice Manager at SFE - Southwest Foodservice Excellence and positions at Chartwells School Dining Services K12 as a Line Cook/Cashier and Food Server. LaQuena is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University, having recently earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Phoenix, where an Associate of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology was also completed.
