Robert F. Allison

Robert F. Allison is a seasoned finance and administration professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as a part-time Substitute Teacher for ESS since October 2023, Robert previously held the role of Senior Director of Finance and Administration at Rutgers University from December 2016 to June 2023, acting as CFO and senior advisor to the Dean, overseeing a team responsible for HR, Finance, Budget, IT, and Facilities. Prior to this, Robert was the Executive Director of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2016, managing financial operations for the School of Arts & Sciences, which had an annual budget of $511 million and employed 1,200 staff. Earlier in Robert's career, various staff accountant roles were undertaken at firms such as F.X. Duffy & Co., Inc., and SPS Technologies. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Joseph's University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
