Giacomo Chierichetti is a food innovator and sommelier with over five years of experience in food product research and development, specializing in functional ingredients and innovative process optimization. They have worked in diverse environments, ranging from small startups to large corporations, and currently serve as the Director of Production and R&D Food at Esselunga. Giacomo has held various roles, including R&D Specialist at Erbert and Addetto Enoteca at Eataly, and has taught seminars at the Università degli Studi di Milano. They are also an official taster with the Associazione Italiana Sommelier. Giacomo holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology, graduating with honors.
