Derek Nielsen

Derek Nielsen is a seasoned business executive with extensive sales, marketing, and business development experience across various industries. Currently, they serve as the District Sales Manager for Essendant, leading the Enterprise team and engaging with major retailers in North America. Derek's prior roles include Sales Director at Phillips Pet Food & Supplies and Vice President of Sales at Nilodor Inc., where they drove significant revenue growth. They received foundational training in leadership from the United States Air Force and hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, as well as an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder. Outside of work, Derek enjoys outdoor activities with family in the Rocky Mountains.
