John Houston has a diverse professional background, characterized by extensive leadership and operational experience. Currently, Houston serves on the Board of Trustees for the Twinsburg Schools Foundation and as the Regional Maintenance Manager for Essendant, overseeing operations across Ohio and New York. Houston has been involved with the Twinsburg CERT Team as Commander since 2012, and has owned and operated Precipitation Unlimited since 1984. A former high school football coach at Twinsburg High School and Walsh Jesuit High School from 1977 to 2020, Houston also served as the Director of Operations for Universal Heat Treating from 2006 to 2017 and held positions as a firefighter and duty officer with the Twinsburg Fire Department from 1991 to 2000. Additionally, Houston worked in maintenance at Stouffer Foods from 1977 to 1999. Educational qualifications include attendance at R.B. Chamberlin High School and The University of Akron.
