Pete Agnes

Pete Agnes is currently an advisor at Essentia Analytics. Prior to that, they were a partner and portfolio manager at Caxton Associates from April 2011 to December 2018. Pete was also responsible for the recruitment and professional development of equity and credit teams globally. Before Caxton Associates, Pete worked at Barclays Capital as the managing director and global head of the Credit Opportunities Group from December 2008 to April 2011. There, they developed a business plan and executed the buildout of a eleven-person proprietary trading team in New York and London.

Pete Agnes has a BA in Government from Dartmouth College and an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. Pete also has a certification from the CFA Institute in Chartered Financial Analyst.
