Jeff Pootoolal

Jeff Pootoolal is a Partner at Sixth Street, a global investment firm managing over $60 billion in assets, where they have worked since 2014. Additionally, Jeff serves as a Board Member for Essential Pharma and ConcertAI, and was a Board Observer for Caris Life Sciences until 2025. Previously, they held roles at DRI Capital, where they contributed to innovative financial structures and acquisition strategies, as well as an Equity Research Associate at Infinium Securities. Jeff earned an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from McMaster University and an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, while also contributing to published research in bioinformatics during their studies.
