Anna Arvidsson

Anna Arvidsson currently serves as the Global R&D Leader for Infection Management at Essity, a position held since April 2022 following the acquisition of Abigo. In this role, Anna is responsible for the design of wound dressings utilizing Sorbact and Hydrofera technologies. Prior to this, Anna was the Managing Director at Abigo Medical AB and held various roles including Research and Development Director, where responsibilities focused on development strategy and product care for infection management and ear pressure management products. Anna's background includes experience as an Associate Professor at Sahlgrenska Academy, and significant roles in research and development at Dentsply Sirona and other institutions. Anna holds a PhD in Biomaterials from the University of Gothenburg and an MSc in Engineering Biology from Linköping University.
