Chetan Divekar

Chetan Divekar is a seasoned packaging development professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Global Lead Packaging Development Engineer at Essity since August 2019, Chetan is responsible for packaging development across various product categories and leads the creation and implementation of the Sustainable Packaging roadmap. Prior experience includes significant roles at Unilever, where Chetan focused on global cost-saving initiatives and packaging innovations across multiple product formats and regions. Previous positions also include quality assurance roles at Positive Packaging Industries Limited and Multiflex Lami Print Ltd., alongside an early career in customer relations at The Times of India. Chetan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging Science and Technology from S.I.E.S. School of Packaging and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Wilson College, Mumbai.
