Daniel Araujo

Daniel Araujo has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Daniel started their career at Deloitte as a Senior Auditor in 2003 and worked there until 2007. Daniel then joined Tyco and held various roles including Controller - Brazil and Global Compliance Manager. In 2011, they joined Essity where they held several positions including Finance and Administrative Director, Controlling Director Latin America, and Managing Director Medical Solutions Brazil. Daniel then became the Commercial Director for Medical Solutions in Brazil and the South Cluster before being promoted to Vice President Finance for the Professional Hygiene business unit. Most recently, they served as the VP Finance Consumer Goods Americas.

Daniel Araujo completed their Advanced Management Program in Business Administration and Management from The Wharton School in 2023. Daniel also earned an Executive MBA from IESE Business School between 2013 and 2015. Daniel holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, which they received from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they attended the Stockholm School of Economics for Executive Education in Driving Business Performance in 2017, and for Executive Education in Value Creation from 2015 onwards.
