Fredrik Althoff

Fredrik Althoff is the IP Director for Professional Hygiene at Essity, where they lead a team focused on securing intellectual property rights throughout the product lifecycle. With extensive experience in patent management and strategy, they previously served as the Director of the Patent Unit at Ericsson and have held various roles related to product development and IPR consulting. Fredrik co-founded Landala Nät AB, acted as CTO at Nanofactory Instruments AB, and contributed to the European Patent Institute as a council member. They hold a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Chalmers University of Technology and a BSc in Physics from the University of Gothenburg.
