Ian Bloomfield

Ian Bloomfield is an experienced professional in the pulp and paper industry, currently serving as Supplier Quality Manager for Pulp and Fibres at Essity since December 2016. Prior to this role, Ian has held significant positions at SCA and Georgia Pacific, where responsibilities included managing supplier quality, leading papermaking process engineering teams, and overseeing capital project development and optimization. Ian's extensive background includes roles ranging from Production Manager to Technical Superintendent, with a focus on tissue machine operations and deinking processes. Ian holds a BSc Hons in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University and pursued further research in Paper Science and Engineering at UMIST.
