Jonathan Smith has extensive experience in sales and account management within the consumer goods sector, particularly in personal care and hygiene products. Currently serving as Sales Channel Lead for Pharmacy & Drugstores at Essity since October 2017, Jonathan previously held positions as Category Manager for Bodyform & TENA and Key Account Manager for Tesco, Waitrose, Co-Op, and Lidl, overseeing various brands. Prior to joining Essity, Jonathan worked at SCA as a National Account Manager and Executive, managing key discount accounts and developing a portfolio of well-known personal care brands. Jonathan started the professional journey in manufacturing planning and logistics with internships focused on production and demand planning. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Newcastle University, complemented by a foundational education from St Aidans C of E High School.
