Ken Makela

Ken Makela is an accomplished IT professional with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as IT Manager for Supply Chain Planning Services and IT Manager for Enterprise Application Services in the US and Canada at Essity since May 2017, Ken has previously held key roles at Wausau Paper from 2000 to April 2017, including IT Applications Manager, IT Operations Manager, and IT Systems Manager for the Specialty Paper Group. Prior to Wausau Paper, Ken worked as a Systems Analyst at The Sorg Paper Company from 1993 to 2000. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 1986 to 1989.
