Rakesh Harji

Rakesh Harji is the IP Director for Consumer Goods at Essity, where they lead the newly formed Consumer Goods IP team, addressing all aspects of intellectual property. Prior to this role, Rakesh was the Global Senior Patent Counsel at Mondelēz International, managing a substantial patent portfolio and coordinating cross-jurisdictional litigation efforts. Rakesh’s earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Research Scientist and Patent Attorney at AstraZeneca and as the Director of Concept IP Consulting Ltd. Rakesh holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from The University of Manchester.
