Samuel Martinez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in brand development, innovation, and sustainability within the consumer goods sector. Currently serving as the Global Brand, Innovation and Sustainability Director for both Professional Hygiene and Consumer Tissue and Personal Care at Essity since September 2021, Samuel's previous roles at Essity include various leadership positions in brand innovation and management from April 2014 to September 2020. Prior to Essity, Samuel held significant roles at Unilever, where contributions included managing brand development for Dove Skin Care and other products across Europe. Early career experiences also include roles at PepsiCo, Colgate Palmolive, and marketing internships that provided a strong foundation in brand management and customer marketing strategies. Samuel holds an Executive Education degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, complemented by international education experiences in various prestigious institutions.
