Sid Takla

Sid Takla is an experienced executive with a robust background in management and strategic leadership within the hygiene and packaging industries. Currently serving as Managing Director at Essity since July 2021, Sid previously held multiple senior roles at Asaleo Care from June 2012 to June 2021, including Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. Sid's experience includes overseeing business units with full responsibility for sales, marketing, finance, and operations. Prior to Asaleo Care, Sid held various positions at Essity between 2007 and 2012, including General Manager Strategy and General Manager - AfH Sales & Marketing. Sid's career began at Amcor Flexibles and Carter Holt Harvey, demonstrating a strong foundation in commercial management, operations, and accounting. Sid holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Western Sydney University and is a qualified CPA.
