Sofia Pedro

Sofia Pedro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical innovation and management within the hygiene and forest products industry. Currently serving as Global Technical Innovation Manager at Essity since June 2017, Sofia has previously held various roles at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company, including Technical Article Manager, European Technical Manager, and Technical Customer Manager from September 2006 to May 2017. Earlier in the career, Sofia worked as Quality, Environment and Safety Manager at Viroc Portugal SA and as a Quality Engineer at Volkswagen Autoeuropa. Sofia holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and has furthered education at Università degli Studi di Milano.
