Tom Boonstra

Tom Boonstra is a capability leader at Essity, having transitioned to this role in 2018 after a long career in engineering and management. They previously held various engineering positions at Philips Components and Fokker Special Products, where they developed and optimized processes in integrated circuits and thermoset plastics. From 1993 to 2018, Tom worked at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company, advancing from Process Engineer to Department Manager. Tom earned an engineering degree from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and also completed their education as a Chemical Analyst at Analistenschool Groningen.
