Sofía Chaves

Sofía Chaves has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and innovation. Sofía is currently working as a Principal Clinical Scientist at Establishment Labs since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Roche for over five years. Their roles at Roche included Country Study Manager from October 2019 to September 2021, Innovation Consultant from November 2017 to May 2021, Country Study Specialist from May 2017 to October 2019, Study Start-Up Specialist from January 2017 to May 2018, and eTMF Coordinator from August 2016 to December 2016.

Sofía Chaves completed their education at Universidad de Ciencias Médicas from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree with a specialization in Pharmacy. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications in fields such as Customer Experience (CX), Design Thinking, Innovation Management, Human-centered Design, Innovation Leadership, Management 3.0, and Innovation Strategy from institutions such as LAVA Liquid Learning Method, LinkedIn, Universidad de Salamanca, Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, and Cocolab - Mind Your Business.
