Tai Travis has significant experience in the field of web development and engineering.
Starting in 2010, Travis worked as a Designer and Web Developer for Videomaker until 2012.
In 2012, Travis joined Intel Corporation as a Drupal Themer on the Intel Appup Developer Portal. Later, they became a Symfony Developer at Intel Cloud Services. Travis worked onsite, writing themes, Drupal modules, and maintaining a complex codebase. They also worked with Backbone.js and Symfony. Travis left Intel in 2013.
From 2013 to 2014, Travis held roles as a Drupal Developer at The New Group and as a Senior Front-end Developer at Pingv.
In 2014, Travis became a Senior Front-end Developer for the Annenberg Foundation. They worked as part of a small team building the website for The Annenberg Space For Photography on Drupal 7. Travis contributed to frontend architecture, Drupal theming, and module development. Their work received recognition from the CSS Design Awards and Computer Arts Magazine. Travis left the Annenberg Foundation in 2015.
From 2015 to 2018, Travis worked as a Frontend Engineer for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
In 2018, Travis returned to New Spark Designs as a Sr. Front-end Engineer, before transitioning to Giantsource Inc. as a Frontend Developer, and then back to New Spark Designs as a Senior Frontend Developer. At New Spark Designs, Travis handled strategy, design, development, and hosting for smaller clients, primarily using Drupal.
Most recently, in 2019, Travis joined Esteemed Inc. as a Fullstack Drupal Developer. They worked as a lead developer, architect, and themer for a large client on a contracted basis.
From 1995 to 1999, Tai Travis attended The Evergreen State College. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, focusing on the fields of biological sciences, illustrative art, and humanities-related studies of communication technology.
