Christopher Trott has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Christopher is currently employed at EstimateOne as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company.

Before joining EstimateOne, Christopher worked at Canva as a Frontend Engineer, where they played a crucial role in delivering an improved user experience for Canva for Education.

Christopher also worked at Bayshann Pty Ltd as a Full Stack Engineer, where they led the development team and contributed to the improvement of business processes.

At dbKoda, a start-up focused on developing an open source database IDE for MongoDB, Christopher served as a Software Engineer. Christopher was responsible for addressing UI efficiency problems and leading the automated testing efforts.

Christopher began their career at Osmotion Pty Ltd as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Technical Support, where they successfully reduced in-the-wild bugs and implemented processes for better integration with CI and deployment processes.

Christopher also gained valuable experience at Kelly Services and Optus, working as a Support Consultant and Salesperson respectively.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technical Services Officer at James Cook University, assisting in the rollout of a new website and CMS.

Christopher Trott completed their education in the field of Information Technology. From 2002 to 2003, they studied at the Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE, where they obtained a Certificate III in Information Technology. Following this, from 2004 to 2009, they attended James Cook University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. In September 2017, Christopher Trott also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance.
