Abby Adams

Abby Adams currently serves as the VP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at the National Association of Home Builders, a role commenced in April 2024. Prior to this position, Abby held multiple legal roles, including Assistant General Counsel at BBB National Programs, where responsibilities included providing legal advice and managing compliance operations. As Senior Counsel, oversight was given to legal and regulatory compliance within dispute resolution programs. Abby also worked as the Director of Legal Management Services at the Association of Corporate Counsel, focusing on law department efficiencies, and has extensive experience as Division Counsel at Stone Street Capital, where compliance strategies and litigation management were key responsibilities. Earlier legal experience includes positions as an Associate Attorney in civil litigation, representing clients in family law and employment matters, as well as a Judicial Law Clerk. Abby Adams holds a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from West Virginia University.
