Carl Harris

Harris is a construction industry professional who co-founded Carl Harris Co., Inc., a specialty subcontractor involved in structural steel and precast concrete erection, and serves as the company's Vice President of Field Operations. Harris has held leadership roles with the National Association of Home Builders, including Third Vice Chairman in 2021 and National Area Chairman, and has contributed to the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute's Erectors' Committee (1998–Present) and the Erectors' Certification Committee. Harris has been an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer (OSHA Education Center, Region VII) from 2011 to 2023 and chairs the Newton/North Newton Planning Commission (2004–Present). Harris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wichita State University (1979–1983).
