Daniel Buuck

Daniel Buuck has extensive experience in building inspection and code enforcement, beginning with the role of Building and Housing Inspector for the City of Faribault, MN from April 2004 to July 2010, where responsibilities included inspecting residential construction, administering various housing programs, and maintaining certification through training. Following this, Daniel served as Program Manager and later as Sr. Program Manager for the National Association of Home Builders from December 2010 to August 2015, focusing on residential construction issues and advocating for industry standards. Most recently, Daniel held the position of Sr. Director for Codes and Standards Policy at The American Institute of Architects from December 2019 to June 2020. Daniel holds a B.A. in German from St. Olaf College, an Engineer's Degree in Architecture from Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt, and a degree in Building Inspection Technology from Inver Hills Community College.
