John Hoversten

Founder and CTO at ETA Wireless, Inc.

John Hoversten has worked in the technology industry since 2008. John began their career at National Semiconductor as a Staff RF System Engineer, where they transferred and incubated ET technology developed in an academic setting to corporate R&D. In 2011, they joined Texas Instruments as a Staff RF System Engineer, MGTS. There, they acted as the lead systems engineer for Envelope Tracking (ET) products and supported RF Power portfolio products at key customers. In 2014, they became System Architect, Mobile Devices at Eta Devices, Inc., where they worked on next-generation "ETAdvanced" solutions for mobile applications. Finally, in 2016, they founded and became CTO of Eta Wireless, a Murata Company. In 2021, Murata Manufacturing acquired Eta Wireless.

John Hoversten obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Microwave/RF Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
