Lead Backend Developer at Etch

Martin Rhodes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2022. Martin began their career as a Multi-Lingual Games QA Tester at VMC and later worked at Electronic Arts as a Multi-Lingual Games Certification Tester. From 2008 to 2012, they undertook the role of Ph.D. Research Student at De Montfort University. Following this, Martin joined Renishaw as a Software Engineer, specializing in C# .NET software development. At Felinesoft, they held various positions, including Software Engineer and Web Developer, Senior Developer, and finally Lead Developer. Martin then worked as a Senior Developer at Bournemouth Digital before taking up their current role as Lead Backend Developer at Etch.

Martin Rhodes has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational Intelligence and Robotics from De Montfort University, which they obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Management and Information Systems from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2004. Martin completed their secondary education at the European School, Luxembourg, where they earned a Baccalaureate degree between 1993 and 2000. In addition to their degrees, Martin holds certifications such as MCSD Web Applications from Pearson VUE and Umbraco 8 Certified Professional from Umbraco.
