David Munday

David Munday is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. In the current role as VP of Software Engineering at Etched, Munday leads strategic initiatives to enhance software solutions. Previously, at Google DeepMind, Munday served as Principal Engineer, contributing to innovative projects in AI and machine learning. Before that, Munday held the position of Director of Engineering for Servers, SmartNICs, and SOCs software at Google, where leadership and technical expertise were pivotal in advancing infrastructure technologies. Additionally, Munday has a background in academia as a Teaching Fellow at UC Santa Cruz, fostering the next generation of engineers.
