Ted Wilcox

Ted Wilcox has an extensive background in software engineering and management, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Datacenter Systems Software at Etched since September 2025, Ted previously held significant positions at Cisco as Software Manager and at Pure Storage as Director of Engineering. Early experience includes roles at 3PAR and Geocast Networks, and a foundational career at SGI. In addition to a robust software career, Ted has been a Ski Instructor at Kirkwood Mountain Resort since 2008, providing both group and private lessons, while holding a PSIA Alpine Level-2 certification. Ted earned a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
