UX & Design Strategy Lead at Etcho

Will Anderson has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and companies. Will is currently serving as the Joint Head of Commerce Experience Design at Publicis Groupe since 2022. In this position, they focus on shaping, designing, and executing the future of buying experiences. Will is also responsible for fostering a design-led culture at DEG, where they deliver innovative services to clients in the Change Operations space.

Prior to their current role, Will worked as a UX & Design Strategy Lead at Etcho starting in 2020. During this time, they also volunteered as a Mentor at ReDI School of Digital Integration Munich, providing guidance and support to individuals in need. Will was also a Volunteer Mentor at Digital Boost, where they shared their expertise in digital skills with charities and small businesses.

Before that, Will held multiple positions at Publicis Emil, starting in 2018. Will served as the Experience Strategy Director for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, utilizing design research and strategy techniques to understand customer needs and create value. Will also worked as an Experience Strategy Manager, playing a key role in brand experience development, product design, and innovation consultancy.

Will's earlier experience includes roles at Publicis Sapient and SapientNitro, where they specialized in design strategy. Will began their career as a Freelance Runner at Blink Production and gained valuable experience as an Intern at SapientNitro. Will also worked in operations at Halcyon Gallery.

Will Anderson obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics and Sociology from Newcastle University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Will also holds a Usability Testing Certificate, which they obtained in April 2016 from Bunnyfoot.
