Bill Sole

Bill Sole is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and training management. Currently serving as Regional Manager (Northern) at The Electrical Training Company since September 2023, Bill has been the Business Manager at E-tec since January 2018, overseeing high-quality training for the electrotechnology and telecommunications sectors. Bill's previous roles include Board Member and Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee at the New Zealand Board for Engineering Diplomas, Trustee at the Refrigerant License Trust Board, and Special Projects Manager at The Skills Organisation. Bill has accumulated significant expertise in stakeholder engagement, compliance management, and strategic project leadership through positions at Competenz, the Tertiary Education Commission, and the Manukau Institute of Technology. Bill Sole holds a Master's degree in Engineering from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
