Markkus Millend

Markkus Millend is a Co-Founder of eTEU, a company that is developing a digital solution for the freight shipping industry. Markkus is also the Head of Engineering at Restake, where they oversee the engineering department. In addition, Markkus has served as the Head of Blockchain Development at Cowa, Europe's largest Bitcoin mining company, and as the Head of Blockchain Research at LIAN Group, an investment company. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Development Consultant at ELIIS Education Software and as a Team Member for the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity.

Markkus Millend obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Cyber Security Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Tallinn School No. 21. In addition to their formal education, Markkus has also obtained certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco in December 2018, and in Clarified Security: HOHE from Clarified Security OÜ in August 2017.
