Andy Findlay

Andy Findlay has extensive experience in manufacturing management, with a career spanning over 40 years. Currently serving as Area Manager at Etex Building Performance since May 2007, Andy previously held roles as Shift Manager, managing production teams and ensuring quality outcomes at both Etex and John Cotton. At Hydro Aluminium Motorcast, Andy progressed from Cell Leader to Maintenance Cell Leader, overseeing large teams in a continuous manufacturing environment and spearheading key projects. An earlier career at British Gypsum included an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, culminating in an HNC. Andy's expertise encompasses health and safety, maintenance management, and continuous improvement initiatives across various manufacturing sectors.
