Kees Both

Kees Both has extensive experience in the field of fire safety and regulation, currently serving as the Manager of Standards & Regulation at Etex since January 2012. In this role, Kees Both is responsible for representing fire regulatory issues across multiple standardization bodies, including NEN, CEN, ISO, IMO, ASTM, NFPA, and UL, as well as in various trade associations such as Fire Safe Europe, Eurogypsum, EAPFP, and CPE. Prior to Etex, Kees Both held the position of Technical Manager at the Promat Research and Technology Centre and served as Technical Director and Managing Director at Efectis Nederland B.V. from 2006 to 2012. Kees Both also worked as the Head of the Centre for Fire Research at TNO from 2000 to 2006. Kees Both holds a degree from Delft University of Technology.
