Marisol Geldres

Marisol Geldres is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and environmental initiatives. Currently serving as a Member of the Environmental Committee for WISTA International since January 2025, Marisol also contributes as a Docente Posgrado at Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería de Perú and Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. In the corporate sector, Marisol holds the position of Purchasing Manager for the Andean Region and Head of Procurement and Foreign Trade at Etex, while also serving on the Board of Directors and as WebMaster for WISTA PERÚ. Previously, Marisol spent over 16 years at Corporación Aceros Arequipa in various roles involving purchases and foreign trade. With an MBA from PAD - Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura and multiple diplomas in international trade and supply chain management, Marisol is dedicated to promoting sustainable procurement practices as an Ambassador for The Sustainable Procurement Pledge.
