Robin van Acker

Robin Van Acker has an extensive work experience history. In 2005, they started as a Production Engineer at Aleris Europe, a role they held until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, Robin worked at Promat International NV in various roles including Production Engineer, Project Leader Energy, and Manager Workshop HTI. In 2011, they joined Lantmännen Unibake as a Production Manager and later became the Plant Manager. From 2013 to 2015, Robin worked at AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings as a Continuous Improvement Manager and Manager Internal Logistics a.i. Robin then returned to Lantmännen Unibake in 2017 as the Maintenance & Facilities Manager and later became the Operations Manager. Currently, Robin is the Head of Operations at Etex, a position they started in 2022. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in operations management, lean six sigma, continuous improvement, and project leadership.

Robin Van Acker completed a Master's degree in Engineering from KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology - De Nayer Campus from 2000 to 2005. In 2006-2007, Robin also pursued a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Additionally, Robin completed a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification at Akzonobel.
