Steve Sampson has worked in a variety of roles in the retail and event operations industries. From 2008 to 2017, they were a Store Operations Manager at Publix Super Markets, where they managed a team of 150+ employees and 14 managers. In 2017, they began working at ESL Gaming as a Senior Manager of Festival Operations, where they were responsible for inventory acquisition and tracking, warehouse management, and all logistical planning. Steve also served as a Project Manager for all Stage and AV suppliers. In 2022, they became the Head Operations Steward at ETHDenver.
Steve Sampson obtained a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Gwinnett Technical College between 2009 and 2011. Steve then obtained a Forklift Operator Safety Certification from Liftow in August 2019 and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association in February 2020.
