Daniel Zakrisson is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in technology, blockchain, and decentralized solutions. As the COO and Co-Founder of Scaleout since January 2019, Daniel has focused on enabling federated learning in MLOps. Daniel has also served as an advisor for Etherisc, which specializes in decentralized insurance, and previously co-founded and led Hardfork, a firm dedicated to blockchain strategy and implementation. Additionally, Daniel was the CEO and co-founder of Cofound.it, recognized as the world’s first blockchain accelerator. Previous roles include CTO at Qbtech AB, where Daniel oversaw IT strategy and software development, and CEO of DNA-Guide, a pioneer in personal DNA testing. Daniel's early career included business development at Diamorph and military service as a squad leader in the Swedish Armed Forces. Daniel holds both a B.Sc in Business and Economics and an M.Sc in Molecular Biotechnology Engineering from Uppsala University.
