Liam Horne

Liam Horne is currently the CEO of OP Labs, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder of ETHGlobal from 2017 to 2021, where they led the largest developer community in Web3, with 5000+ projects by 30,000+ hackers built at over 40 virtual and in person hackathons across the world. Liam also launched a $50MM fund and made seed investments into OpenSea, Celer, Ramp Network, and others. From 2017 to 2021, they were also the Co-Founder of L4, where they led the research and engineering team producing open-source software for off-chain blockchain scalability including integrations with The Graph. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Director of Engineering at Atomic, where they built engineering and data science teams for startups, and launched Atomic's Canadian engineering offices which led to founding Terminal. From 2013 to 2016, they were the CTO of PiinPoint, where they built a product to identify where to open new stores, which was used by Tim Hortons, H&R Block, TJX, Colliers, Burger King, Circle K, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, and others.

Liam Horne attended the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2014, studying Computer Science. Liam then attended Y Combinator, where they are currently enrolled.
