Martin Barabas possesses a diverse range of experience in political engagement, student representation, and research. Currently, Barabas serves as a Mobilisation Assistant and Organiser for The Labour Party while representing international students on the National Labour Students Committee. In addition to holding several leadership positions within UCL Labour, including President, Barabas co-founded Legally Literate, a platform focused on student legal rights, and is currently an Advisory Board Member for CAUSE, which advocates for campus safety in the UK. Previous roles include research analyst positions with EthicsGrade and Legal-Pythia, addressing sustainable AI regulation and minimizing AI bias, respectively. Barabas has received recognition through an Unsung Hero Award and has been actively involved in various committees and associations within UCL and the Model United Nations. Martin Barabas is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Sociology at UCL, expected to graduate in June 2024.
