Neil Shack

Neil Shack is currently a partner at Ethisys. Prior to that, they were a Senior developer/architect at Liverpool John Moores University from July 2012 to March 2017, where they were responsible for optimizing LJMU Sitecore instances, implementing solutions architecture and contributing to DevOps setup, updating and managing branch strategy using VSTS code base, and implementing CI, CD, TDD and automated deployments using MSBuild and MS Release management, setup build & release definitions. Neil also developed internal bespoke systems and web solutions using a variety of platforms and technologies such as MVC, Sitecore, VSTS, Unicorn, NSubstitute, Glassmapper, SlowCheetah, SharePoint, HTML, SQL, C#.net, VB.net, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, ASP, Castle Windsor, and WCF.

From February 2017 to May 2019, Neil Shack worked as a Sitecore consultant at Coretec Digital Ltd.

Neil Shack has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Information Systems from the University of Chester. Neil has certifications from Microsoft in Developing ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications, and from Sitecore in Sitecore 7.0 Certified Professional Backend Developer (WND), Sitecore 7.0 Certified Professional Frontend Developer (FED), and Sitecore 9.0 Certified Platform Associate Developer.
