Xavier Palacios has a strong educational background in the field of political sciences and history. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Middle East Politics at SOAS University of London. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals in 2012 to 2013. In 2008 to 2012, Xavier obtained their Bachelor's degree in History from Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, they participated in the Erasmus program at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2010 to 2011, where they focused on Historia. Xavier also holds a certification in "El Intervencionismo Político en la Historia Militar Española" from CISDE Campus Internacional de la Seguridad y la Defensa, which they earned in January 2014.
