Lynn Sweeney

Lynn Sweeney is an experienced professional in planning and community engagement, currently serving as the Director at Ethos CRS since October 2016, focusing on communication and policy training. Sweeney has contributed as a Sessional Member for Planning Panels Victoria from January 2013 to July 2023, facilitating public participation in planning and environmental decision-making processes. Additionally, from January 2013 to January 2019, Sweeney was a member of the Geographic Place Names Panel and held the position of Senior Manager for Community Engagement at Places Victoria from September 2011 to April 2012, where promoting community involvement in urban renewal projects was essential. Prior experience includes serving as Strategic Planning Manager at VicUrban from 2004 to September 2011 and engaging in strategic and social planning at the City of Melbourne from 1987 to 2002. Lynn Sweeney holds a Bachelor of Town Planning (BTRP) degree from the University of Melbourne, obtained between 1982 and 1985.
