Yemisrach Desta

Yemisrach Desta is a Project Manager at EthSwitch, overseeing the Shared Wallet and Digital Channels project, a component of RTRPs projects since May 2022. Previously, Yemisrach served as a Senior Project Management Officer at Awash Bank from March 2019 to May 2022 and held the position of Senior Technical Support at Wegagen Bank from June 2012 to 2019, where responsibilities included card payment switch administration and technical support. Additionally, Yemisrach provided e-banking technical support, focusing on payment card division and monitoring payment systems. Earlier experience includes serving as the IT teacher and department head at H-23 Preparatory School, as well as being a Computer Network Technician at the National Animal Health Diagnostic and Investigation Center. Yemisrach holds a Master's degree in Information Science, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics from Addis Ababa University.
