Tommy Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tommy started their career in 1996 as a Senior Technology Specialist at Kinko's, where they provided technical support and performed computer and printer installations. In 2004, they worked as a Document Production Specialist at Ernst & Young, synthesizing financial information and providing technical support.
From 2004 to 2005, Tommy worked as a Graphic Designer and Web Administrator at Counter Culture Coffee, creating signage, packaging, and providing technical support. Tommy then worked as a Photo-Imaging Technician at The News & Observer from 2006 to 2007, responsible for image editing and posting to appropriate servers.
In 2007, they joined Yep Roc Records / Redeye Distribution, Inc. as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, collecting and analyzing AR balances. From 2010 to 2014, Tommy worked at Etix as a Hardware Manager / Equipment Coordinator, managing an inventory of computers and providing on-site support.
Tommy then moved on to Kings Barcade in 2013 as a Facilities Manager, responsible for managing the facilities until 2015. Tommy returned to Etix in 2016 as a Manager Technical Operations, where they are currently employed.
Tommy Gibson began their education in 1989 at Guilford College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art. Tommy completed their studies in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, Tommy attended Duke University, where they focused on Art/Architecture and Computer Science. Although no specific degree was mentioned during their time at Duke, it can be inferred that Tommy gained valuable knowledge and expertise in these fields.
