Tom Franks is a chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience in practice and industry. They are the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ethical Tea Partnership and the Chair of the London Assay Office, and they currently serve as an Independent Consultant and as Chair of the Assay Office Management Board at The Goldsmiths' Company. They previously served as CEO of Camellia Plc and held senior roles at KPMG, including Partner and global leadership positions from 2010 to 2014. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics and Electronics from Durham University (1982–1985).
