Phil Layer

Phil Layer is a seasoned expert in e-commerce and brand management with extensive experience working on Amazon. Since founding PLEC - Brands Edge On Amz in January 2019, Phil has been dedicated to assisting brands and manufacturers in navigating the complexities of Amazon, leveraging practical experience from both large and small B2C and B2B sectors. Concurrently, as an Expert Partner at Etribes since April 2018, Phil specializes in Amazon strategy, vendor operations, and the development of e-commerce partnerships. Prior roles include Retail Marketing Manager Amazon Europe and Key-Account-Manager E-Commerce at Robert Bosch GmbH from February 2013 to March 2018. Phil holds a Master of Science in International Management from Steinbeis Hochschule and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration from Hochschule Fulda, complemented by studies at California State University-San Bernardino.
