Fran O'Brien

Fran O'Brien is an experienced wireless industry executive who creates product growth through global industry standards. Currently a member of the Service Provider CTO team at Cisco Systems, Fran actively participates in various standards bodies, including 3GPP and ETSI, among others. Previously, Fran served as a Senior Director at Alcatel-Lucent, directing the Wireless Standards and Intellectual Property Department. Fran holds a B.S. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and both an M.A. and Ph.D. in Physics from Boston University.
