Ciara Roche is the Chief Operating Officer of Etsy Payments Ireland and previously held the role of Director of Payments Regulatory Operations at Etsy. With 17 years of experience in the Financial Services and Payments Industry, Ciara has served in various capacities, including Head of Operational Permanent Control at BNP Paribas, where they developed and implemented operational risk management frameworks. Ciara has also worked with Deloitte in Risk Advisory Services, specializing in operational risk management transformations. They hold multiple degrees, including a BA in Economics and Psychology and an MA in Economics from University College Cork, alongside distinctions in Conduct and Culture Risk Management and Operational Risk Management from University College Dublin.
